Printed instructions - by mail

The Weekend Slipover is worked from the top down. First, the upper back is worked in rows, with the shoulders shaped using short rows. Then, the shoulders are knitted, gathered at the front to form the front. Next, the front and back are joined on a circular needle for the body, which is worked in the round. The ribbed edgings at the neck and armholes are worked last, with the latter being knitted with decreases.

First, knit a gauge swatch to determine the correct needle size for you.

Size Guide

The Weekend Slipover should have a positive ease of approx. 20-25 cm in relation to your bust circumference. Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to a body bust circumference of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm. The measurements of the finished slipover can be found on the front page. First, measure yourself before you start knitting to determine the size that best fits you. If your bust circumference (or the widest part of your body) measures 90 cm, you should choose size S. A slipover in size S has a bust circumference of 112 cm and would in this case have a positive ease of 22 cm.
