Aran

Aran or worsted yarns are knitted with 4.5-5.5 mm needles and allow for quick progress on projects. With a gauge of 16-20 stitches per 10 cm, you can see the work developing very quickly. Aran yarn is often a little thicker than worsted, but the two qualities are usually interchangeable.
