Vegas Top by Paula_m

The VEGAS top is effortlessly light and airy and the perfect summer companion, beautifully paired with high-waisted pants and skirts.

It is knitted from top to bottom, so the length can be adjusted as needed. The front and back are knitted in rows up to the armhole, first the back, then the front. The body is worked in rounds, and finally, the neck and armholes are edged with a simple I-cord.

Techniques used: Provisional cast-on, left and right leaning increases, I-cord bind-off. All techniques used are explained in the instructions.

The VEGAS top looks particularly good when worn close to the body with approx. 0-2 cm positive ease or even 2 cm negative ease. I am 1.76 m tall and have a bust circumference of 88 cm and am wearing size S here. If you prefer a looser fit, you can of course allow for a little more ease.

/ Material:

200 (250) 250 (300) 350 (400) g 'Cosma' by Lamana (60% cotton, 40% modal; 100 m/50 g) or Line by Sandnes Garn.

/ Needles:

Circular needle 4.0 mm (80 -120 cm),

Circular needle 3.0 mm (50-60 cm) for the I-cord edging

/Gauge

Stockinette stitch in rows with 4.0 mm needles: 19 sts x 25 rows = 10 x 10 cm (washed).
