These silicone cords are used to hold stitches. When knitting top-down, you can put the sleeve stitches or the body stitches on them.
To do this, insert the knitting needle into the silicone cord, thread the stitches onto it, and then knot the ends. Later knitting off the held stitches is very comfortable, again with the help of a double-pointed needle.
The cords are soft and very flexible, so you don't stretch the stitches much at the transition.
The cords are delivered in a set of 3, packed in a tin box with logos on top and a colored sticker on the bottom. A set contains 1 cord approx. 150cm long and two cords approx. 75cm long.
