Sunday Sweater

The Sunday Sweater is worked from the top down. The yoke is worked in ribbing in the round with increases. The body and sleeves are worked in stockinette stitch and both end with a ribbed cuff. The sleeves of the Sunday Sweater are extra long and are worked with increases, so they get wider towards the wrist. The neckband is knitted on the inside as the yoke is worked – alternatively, it can be sewn on the inside at the end.

Size Guide

The Sunday Sweater is designed to have approximately 10-15 cm (4-6 inches) of positive ease relative to your bust circumference.

Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL correspond to a bust circumference of approximately 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 cm (31.5-33.5 (33.5-35.5) 35.5-37.5 (37.5-39.5) 39.5-43.5 (43.5-47) 47-51 inches). The measurements of the finished garment are on the front page (note that these measurements only apply if the given gauge is met). Measure your bust circumference (or the widest part of your body) before you begin knitting to determine the size that fits you best. For example, if your bust circumference is 94 cm (37 inches), you should choose size M. A size M sweater has a bust circumference of 106 cm (41.75 inches) and would therefore have 12 cm (4.75 inches) of positive ease in this case.
