With Proper Sock, Cowgirlblues has developed the ideal sock yarn: a classic blend of 75% virgin wool (superwash) and 25% nylon. This combination makes the yarn soft, elastic, and at the same time robust enough for socks and other hard-wearing knitted items. Thanks to its superwash treatment, it can be easily machine-washed and remains dimensionally stable.

The hand-dyed Cowgirlblues colors are particularly characteristic. Inspired by the South African landscape, semi-solid and vibrant hues are created, giving every project an individual touch. With a yardage of approx. 366 m per 100 g, Proper Sock is suitable not only for socks but also for accessories and entire garments.

The yarn is dyed in South Africa – under fair conditions, by women in rural areas. Thus, Proper Sock combines high-quality knitting pleasure with socially responsible production.
