Olga Blouse

The Olga Blouse is worked from the top down in stripes. First, the upper back is worked in rows, with the shoulder slopes shaped by short rows. Simultaneously, the stripe pattern is worked. Afterwards, the shoulders are worked separately on a circular needle. These are then joined to the front. The front and back are joined to form the body, which is worked in rounds with stripes on a circular needle. The sleeves are worked from picked-up stitches around the armholes. The neckband is worked last from picked-up stitches and folded double.

Size Guide

The Olga Blouse is designed to have approximately 12 cm (4.75 inches) of positive ease in the smallest sizes, decreasing for the larger sizes. Sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) are designed to fit a bust circumference of 75-80 (80-85) 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm (29.5-31.5 (31.5-33.5) 33.5-35.5 (35.5-37.5) 37.5-39.5 (39.5-43.25) 43.25-47.25 (47.25-51.25) 51.25-55.25 (55.25-59 inches)). The finished garment measurements are provided on the first page of the pattern. Please note: These measurements are only valid if the stated gauge is met. Measure yourself before beginning to choose the size that fits you best. If your bust circumference (or the widest part of your upper body) is 95 cm (37.5 inches), you should choose size M. An Olga Blouse in size M has a bust circumference of 107 cm (42.25 inches) and would give you 12 cm (4.75 inches) of positive ease. A full schematic can be found here.
