The MESH Sweater is a simple, boxy-cut sweater with a lace pattern. In summer, it can be worn airily over a top in cotton; in winter, over a longsleeve or blouse in soft virgin wool.
The sweater is knitted top-down in a lace pattern. First, the back piece is knitted with increases for the shoulder shaping, then the left and right front pieces. The back and front pieces are knitted in rows until the armholes. Then, both pieces are joined for the body and worked in the round. For the sleeves, stitches are picked up from the side edges of the front and back pieces and also knitted in the round. Finally, the neckline is bordered with a ribbed cuff.
Techniques used: Lace pattern, M1R/M1L, kfb/kbf increases, left and right leaning decreases, 'Italian bind-off'.

Circular needle 3.5 mm / 80 - 100 cm for the body ribbing, 40 - 50 cm for the neckline and sleeve ribbing.
/ Gauge
Lace pattern in rows with 4.5 mm needles: 14 sts x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 inches), measured after washing, lightly stretched and lying flat. Adjust needle size if necessary to achieve gauge.
For the yarn combination 'Eco Baby' + 'Spinni', it is recommended to go up half a needle size
(5.0 mm), as the yarn is a bit more elastic and the pattern will contract more.
