A slipover that impresses with its simplicity!
The Lulu Slipover Junior is worked from the top down. The slipover features deep armholes that are closed with 2 buttons on each side. First, the back is worked, then the front. Ribbing is worked along the armholes, and edges are worked in double knitting on the sides, which form a slit at the bottom. Two buttonholes are worked into the front edges in double knitting. Finally, a ribbing is worked at the neckline.
Size Guide
The Lulu Slipover Junior should have approximately 20 cm of positive ease relative to the bust circumference. Sizes 1-2 (2-3) 3-4 (4-5) 5-6 (6-7) 7-8 (8-9) 9-10 (10-11) 11-12 (12-14) years correspond to a body bust circumference of approx. 53 (54) 56 (57) 59 (62) 64 (68) 72 (75) 78 (82) cm. The measurements of the finished slipover can be found on the title page (note that these measurements are only valid if the gauge is met). If you/the recipient has a bust circumference of 57 cm, you should choose size 4-5 years. A slipover in size 4-5 years has a bust circumference of 77 cm and would in this case have a positive ease of 20 cm. If the measured bust circumference deviates from the age recommendation, you should adjust the length to the person being knitted for. The same applies if the child is smaller/taller than average.
