Karma Cotton is a recycled cotton. Cotton textiles, such as remnants and scraps from textile factories, are given a new lease on life. It is wonderfully soft and produces an amazingly even, smooth knit fabric.
The raw material is collected in the same country where it is processed, which reduces transport distances. It is carefully pre-sorted to achieve the wide variety of colors. The process thus requires no bleach.
Since the fibers are heavily crushed during the preparation of the raw material, a supporting additive is required for stabilization, which here also comes from recycling, namely from PET bottles.
