Ivy Blouse

The Ivy Blouse is worked seamlessly from the top down. The yoke is constructed with increases first for the shoulders, then for the sleeves, and finally for the raglan. Short rows are worked to shape the neckline. The sleeves are worked in the round on double-pointed needles or with the Magic Loop method.

The Ivy Blouse is designed to have approximately 2 cm (0.75 inches) of positive ease in relation to your bust circumference. Sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) correspond to a body bust circumference of 75-80 (80-85) 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm [29.5-31.5 (31.5-33.5) 33.5-35.5 (35.5-37.5) 37.5-39.5 (39.5-43.25) 43.25-47.25 (47.25-51.25) 51.25-55.25 (55.25-59) inches]. The measurements of the finished sweater can be found on the first page (note that these measurements are only valid if the gauge is met). Measure yourself before you begin knitting to determine the size that best fits you. If your bust circumference (or the widest part of your body) measures 90 cm [35.5 inches], you should choose size S. A sweater in size S has a bust circumference of 92 cm [36.25 inches] and would, in this example, have a positive ease of 2 cm [0.75 inches]. A size chart can be found here.
