ISAGER SOFT FINE has a silk core onto which a strand of alpaca and yak is added as a loopy bouclé, which is then brushed to create a fluffy yarn. Even though the production and fibres differ from Isager Soft, we find quite a similarity in the textures of the two yarns. ISAGER SOFT FINE contains wool from yaks, and the depth of the colours is derived from the dark colour of the yak wool - just as we know from the S-colours of white and black wool. Its softness is comparable to Silk Mohair; however, knitting with this yarn is a completely different experience, especially when knitting with just one strand. The yarn is incredibly soft, and our in-house name for this yarn is "Isager's Cashmere".
