Ingrid Slipover

The Ingrid Slipover is worked top down in a textured pattern. First, the back is worked with short rows to shape the shoulder slopes. Then, stitches are picked up for the shoulders, which are then joined at the front to form the front piece. Front and back are placed on one needle under the armholes to form the body, which is worked straight down. The armholes and neckline are then finished with a ribbed pattern. The Ingrid Slipover is worked in a textured pattern, which consists of three different pattern segments. Between each of these segments, a section with a lace pattern is worked.

First, knit a swatch to determine the correct needle size for you - please note that the gauge must match both in height and width to achieve the measurements indicated on the front page.

Size guide

The Ingrid Slipover should have a positive ease of approx. 20 cm relative to your bust circumference. Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL fit a body bust circumference of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm. The measurements of the finished slipover can be found on the front page of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine the size that best fits you. If your bust circumference (or the widest part of your body) measures 90 cm, you should choose size S. A slipover in size S has a bust circumference of 108 cm and would have a positive ease of 18 cm in this case.
