Ida Tee Junior is worked from the top down in a pattern of textured stitches and stripes. First, the tee is worked flat to shape the neck, then the work is joined and the remaining yoke is worked in the round on a circular needle with raglan increases. Stitches are picked up around the neck for a ribbing.

Size guide

Ida Tee Junior should have a positive ease of approx. 9 cm in relation to the chest circumference. Sizes 1-2 (2-3) 3-4 (4-5) 5-6 (6-7) 7-8 (8-9) 9-10 (10-12) years correspond to a chest circumference on the body of approx. 53 (54) 56 (57) 59 (62) 64 (68) 72 (78) cm. The measurements of the finished tee can be found on the front page (please note that these measurements are only valid if the given gauge is maintained). If you/the recipient has a chest circumference of 62 cm, you should choose size 6-7 years. A tee in size 6-7 years has a chest circumference of 71 cm and would in this case have a positive ease of 9 cm. If the measured chest circumference deviates from the age indication, you should adjust the length to the person to be knitted for. The same applies if the child is smaller/taller than average.
