The Hannah Sweater O-Neck is worked from the top down. First, the back is worked flat with increases. Shoulders and front are worked from stitches picked up from the back. Stitches are then picked up around the armholes for the sleeves. Finally, stitches are picked up around the neckline and worked in double ribbing.
First, knit a swatch to determine the needle size that fits your gauge. Wash the swatch before measuring it.
Size Guide
The Hannah Sweater O-Neck should have a positive ease of 35 cm for the smaller sizes and a gradually smaller positive ease for the larger sizes. Sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) are designed to fit a bust circumference of 75-80 (80-85) 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm. The measurements of the finished sweater can be found on the title page. Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine the size that fits you best. If your bust circumference (or the widest part of your body) measures 95 cm, you should choose size M. A sweater in size M has a bust circumference of 131 cm and would have a positive ease of 36 cm in the chosen example.
