The I LOVE STRIPES Bandana is a small, simple triangular scarf with a stripe pattern. It is perfect as a neckerchief with blouses and shirts, but also looks great as a headscarf or headband - the perfect little accessory for spring and summer.
The scarf is knitted from the top center to the tip in a stripe pattern, with wide stockinette stitch stripes in the main color alternating with narrow garter stitch stripes in the contrasting color. For a perfect finish, the scarf is edged with an I-cord. A little tip: The scarf also looks great in a single color, where the stripes come out beautifully as a textured pattern.
Techniques used: Left and right leaning increases, picking up stitches from the side edge, binding off with the I-cord method.
