The Zipper Neck is knitted from the top down. The neckline is worked in rib pattern, folded double, and knitted onto the inside. Then, shoulder increases are made in both right and wrong-side rows, while short rows are simultaneously worked to shape the neckline. Afterward, the front and back pieces are worked. Finally, the zipper facings are knitted from stitches left on hold, so that the zipper also looks good from the inside. The zipper itself is sewn in last between two layers of knitting.
