The Terrazzo Sweater is knitted from the top down, first flat on a circular needle to shape the neckline, then in the round. The yoke is constructed by first working shoulder increases back and forth in rows. Then, sleeve increases are worked, followed by a section with classic raglan increases. The large turtleneck is worked at the end in twisted rib by picking up stitches along the neckline. The sleeves are knitted using double-pointed needles or the Magic Loop method.
