The Stockholm Slipover V-neck is knitted with a V-neck from the top down. First the back, then the shoulders and finally the body. The shoulder slope of the Stockholm Slipover V-neck is worked with short rows, so that it fits perfectly on the shoulders. Along the V-neck and around the armholes, ribbing edges are knitted last, which are bound off with the Italian method.
First make a swatch before you start knitting – an accurate swatch is extremely important for the shoulder width.
Size Guide
The Stockholm Slipover V-neck should have a positive ease of approx. 5 cm in relation to your bust circumference (i.e. the slipover should be 5 cm wider than your circumference). Measure your own bust circumference, while the bust circumference of the slipover is given on the front of the pattern. Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to a bust circumference of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm.
Measure yourself before you start knitting to ensure you have chosen the correct size for you. For example, if your bust circumference measures 90 cm (or the widest part of your torso), you should choose size S, as the bust circumference there is 95 cm. This will give you a positive ease of 5 cm.
