The Stockholm Slipover is worked from the top down, first the back, then the shoulders and front, and finally the body. The shoulder slope of the Stockholm Slipover is created using short rows, ensuring an excellent fit at the shoulders. Ribbed edgings are then worked along the neckline and around the armholes and bound off using the Italian bind-off method.

Knit a gauge swatch before you begin knitting the actual project – an accurate gauge is extremely important for the shoulder width.

Size Guide

The Stockholm Slipover is designed to have approximately 6 cm (2.5 inches) of positive ease in relation to your bust circumference. Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL are designed to fit a bust circumference of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm [31.5-33.5 (33.5-35.5) 35.5-37.5 (37.5-39.5) 39.5-43.25 (43.25-47.25) 47.25-51.25 (51.25-55) 55-59 inches]. Measure yourself before you begin knitting to ensure you choose the correct size. For example, if your bust circumference is 90 cm (35.5 inches) (or the widest part of your torso), you should choose size S, which has a bust circumference of 96 cm (37.75 inches).

The Stockholm Slipover is shaped with decreases at the body. However, if your bust circumference is not the widest part of your torso, you can choose to omit these decreases.
