The September Slipover is worked from the top down in brioche stitch. First, the back is worked by casting on stitches for the neck, which is then worked in rows with increases on both sides. Then, stitches for the shoulders are picked up, which are worked separately and joined at the front. Under the armholes, the front and back are joined in the round, and the body is worked in the round on a circular needle. Finally, stitches are picked up at the neck and armholes, and the ribbing is worked.
Please make a gauge swatch first, before you begin knitting, to determine the correct needle size for you. Note that brioche stitch is difficult to measure due to its elasticity – please measure multiple times.

Size Guide
The September Slipover should have a positive ease of approx. 10 cm. Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to a bust circumference of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm on your body. The finished slipover measurements can be found on the front page. First, measure yourself before you begin knitting to determine the size that fits you best. For example, if your bust circumference (or the widest part of your body) measures 90 cm, you should choose size S. A size S slipover has a bust circumference of 100 cm and would in this case have a positive ease of 10 cm.
