Instructions for Petite Knit - Novice Cardigan - Chunky Edition

The Novice Cardigan – Chunky Edition is worked from the top down. This means that you start with the neckband, then work the yoke, and finally knit the body and sleeves. The cardigan is worked in stockinette stitch, while the edgings are worked in ribbing.

The Novice Cardigan – Chunky Edition has a round yoke. It is created by working increases during knitting - 4 times, evenly distributed over the yoke.

The Novice Cardigan – Chunky Edition should have a positive ease of approx. 15 cm (this means that the cardigan's bust circumference is approximately 15 cm larger than your bust circumference). This means that if you have measured a bust circumference of 88 cm (measure yourself with a tape measure at the widest part of your body), you should knit a size S, as this has a bust circumference of 103 cm. This provides a positive ease of 15 cm.
