The Cumulus Top is worked seamlessly from the top down in stockinette stitch. First, four triangles are worked. These are then joined on a circular needle to form the body. The body is worked in stockinette stitch and finished with a folded hem. Finally, I-cord edges are worked along the upper edges. These continue into the straps, which are then grafted together using Kitchener stitch.
Size Guide
Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL are designed to fit a bust circumference of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 cm [31½-33½ (33½-35½) 35½-37½ (37½-39½) 39½-43¼ (43¼-47¼) 47¼-51¼ inches]. The Cumulus Top is designed to be worn with a negative ease of 6 cm [2¼ inches]. Before you begin, measure yourself to determine which size will fit you the best. If your bust circumference (or the widest part of your body) measures 89 cm [35 inches], you should choose a size S. A size S top has a bust circumference of 84 cm [33 inches] and would in this case give you a negative ease of 5 cm [2 inches]. If you are between sizes, choose the smaller size.
The model in the picture is wearing a size XS with a bust circumference of 82 cm [32¼ inches] and is 164 cm [approx. 5’4”] tall. This results in a negative ease of 2 cm [¾ inch].
