The Jenny Cardigan is knitted from the bottom up in a smock stitch pattern. The body and sleeves are worked separately before all parts are joined on a circular needle for the yoke. The yoke is shaped at the top with short rows, making the back neck higher. The body is worked flat, while the sleeves are worked in the round on double-pointed needles or using the Magic Loop method. Finally, stitches are picked up along the front edges for the button bands, followed by the neckband.

Size Guide

The Jenny Cardigan should have approximately 12-15 cm of positive ease compared to your bust circumference. Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) are designed to fit a body bust circumference of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-105 (105-115) 115-125 (125-135) cm. The measurements of the finished cardigan can be found on the front page. Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine the size that fits you best. If your bust circumference (or the widest part of your body) measures 90 cm, you should choose size S. A cardigan in size S has a bust circumference of 102 cm, which would provide 12 cm of positive ease in this case. If you are between two sizes, it is recommended to choose the smaller size, as the smock stitch pattern will stretch a little with wear.
