Instructions Novice Sweater - Chunky Edition

The Novice Sweater – Chunky Edition is worked from the top down. This means you start with the neckband, then work the yoke, and then knit the body and sleeves. The sweater is worked in stockinette stitch, while the edgings are worked in ribbing.

Suggested yarn: 300 (350) 400 (450) 450 (450-500) 500 (550) 600 g Alpaca 3 by Isager Yarn (50 g = 125 m) together with 100 (100) 125 (125) 125 (125-150) 150 (150) 150-175 g Silk Mohair by Isager Yarn (25 g = 212 m).

Note that the sweater is knitted with a double strand of yarn. The indicated yarn consumption is the total consumption.

 The Novice Sweater – Chunky Edition has a round yoke. It is created by working increases during knitting - 4 times, evenly distributed across the yoke.

Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to a bust circumference of approx. 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm. The Novice Sweater – Chunky Edition should have a positive ease of approx. 18 cm. This means that if, for example, your bust circumference is 95 cm (measure yourself with a tape measure at the widest part of your body), you should knit a size M, as this has a bust circumference of 114 cm. In this case, a sweater in size M has a positive ease of 19 cm.
