The Eva Cardigan is worked top down. First, the upper back is worked with increases. Then, stitches are picked up along the back for the shoulders. Stitches are then picked up along the shoulders, and the remaining yoke is worked on a circular needle, while increases are also made on the front for the V-neck. The body is worked in rows on a circular needle, the sleeves in the round. Finally, stitches are picked up along the front edge and the wide placket is worked in double rib.
