Printed pattern - By post
The Elisabeth Blouse is worked from the top down. First, the collar is worked so that the front and back appear in stockinette stitch, then the first part of the yoke is worked in rows on a circular needle with raglan increases. Stitches are picked up along the edges of the yoke, which are then knitted in double knitting (double face), while the rest of the yoke is gathered and finished. The neckline is shaped with short rows.
This pattern uses the techniques Judy's Magic Cast On, German Short Rows, double knitting and Italian bind off. First, knit a swatch to determine the correct needle size for you.
Size Guide
The Elisabeth Blouse should have a positive ease of approx. 6 cm. Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL fit a bust circumference of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm. The measurements of the finished blouse can be found on the title page. Note: These measurements are only valid if the gauge is adhered to. First measure yourself before you start knitting to determine the size that best suits you. If your bust circumference (or the widest part of your body) measures 90 cm, you should choose size S. A blouse in size S has a bust circumference of 96 cm and would in this case have a positive ease of 6 cm.
