Dagmar Zipper

The Dagmar Zipper Sweater is worked in a textured pattern from the top down. First, the upper back is worked with increases. Then, the shoulders are formed from stitches picked up along the top edge of the back. The body is worked in the round on a circular needle. Stitches are picked up around the armholes for the sleeves, which are then worked in the round downwards. Finally, a ribbed neckband is added, as well as double-knit edgings where the zipper will be attached.

The Dagmar Zipper Sweater is designed to have approximately 26 cm of positive ease for smaller sizes, and gradually less positive ease for larger sizes. Sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) are designed to fit a bust circumference of 75-80 (80-85) 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm. The measurements of the finished sweater can be found on the first page. Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine the size that fits you best. If your bust circumference (or the widest part of your body) is 90 cm, you should choose size S, as it has a bust circumference of 116 cm, resulting in 26 cm of positive ease for this example.
