The Celeste Sweater is worked top-down with a circular yoke. First, the neckband is worked, then the circular yoke is knitted in a pattern with 5 different colors following the chart. After the pattern section of the yoke, short rows are worked to raise the back and give the sweater a great fit. The body and sleeves are worked in stockinette stitch in the round, finished with ribbed cuffs.

Please note that when knitting with a pattern (Fair Isle), you often need to use a needle 0.5-1 mm thicker than when knitting in a single color. Therefore, make both a single-color and a multi-color swatch before you start knitting.

Size Guide

The Celeste Sweater should have a positive ease of approx. 15 cm relative to your bust circumference. Sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) fit a body bust circumference of 75-80 (80-85) 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm. The measurements of the finished sweater can be found on the title page. First, measure yourself before you start knitting to determine the size that best suits you. If your bust circumference (or the widest part of your body) measures 85 cm, you should choose size XS. A size XS sweater has a bust circumference of 100 cm and would therefore have a positive ease of 15 cm.

Recommended Needles: Circular needles 4.5 mm and 4 mm (60, 80 and/or 100 cm), circular needles 3.5 mm (80 or 100 cm), circular needles 3 mm (40 cm), double-pointed needles 4 mm and 3.5 mm (unless knitting with the Magic Loop method), possibly a larger needle size for the pattern section
