Breeze Bag pattern by petitknit

The Breeze Bag is worked from the bottom up. The bottom is flat and worked on double-pointed needles, while the bag itself is knitted in a lace pattern on circular needles. At the top, the bag is divided into two parts, which are finished separately. Afterwards, stitches are picked up along the edges of the bag, and a border is worked in double knitting, which transitions into the straps. The straps and borders are thus a continuous piece. Finally, a herringbone patterned ribbon is inserted into the gap, creating more stability.

Gauge: 25 stitches x 32 rows in lace pattern on 4 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm

Recommended needles: Circular needles 4 mm (60 cm), circular needles 3 mm (60 cm), double-pointed needles 3.5 mm and 3 mm

Materials: 150 g Trio 2 by Isager Yarn (50 g = 175 m) or Hør Organic by Isager Yarn (50 g = 178 m) together with 100 g Merilin by Isager Yarn (50 g = 208 m), approx. 175 cm long herringbone patterned ribbon (2 cm wide) to insert into the strap
