The April Cardigan has a V-neck and is worked top down. The yoke is constructed by first working shoulder increases back and forth. Then, increases are made for the sleeves, and finally, a section with classic raglan increases. Simultaneously, increases are made along both front edges to create the V-neck. The sleeves are worked in the round on double-pointed needles or using the Magic Loop method. Finally, stitches are picked up along the front edges, at the shoulders, and at the neck, and the button bands are worked in a rib pattern. First, knit a swatch to determine the correct needle size for you.

Size Guide

The April Cardigan should have a positive ease of approximately 6-8 cm in relation to your bust circumference. Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL fit a bust circumference of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm. The measurements of the finished sweater are on the front (note that these measurements are only valid if the gauge is met). Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine the size that fits you best. If your bust circumference is 90 cm (or the widest part of your upper body), you should choose size S. A cardigan in size S has a bust circumference of 97 cm and would in this case have a positive ease of 7 cm.

The blue April Cardigan is knitted with Sunday in the color Baby Blue Eyes and Tynn Silk Mohair in the color Himmelblå by Sandnes Garn. The Himmelblå Tynn Silk Mohair is unfortunately no longer available, but you can use the color Mørk Himmelblå 6042 instead and achieve almost the same result.

The brown April Cardigan is knitted with Sunday (Camel) and Tynn Silk Mohair (Brunt Sukker) by Sandnes Yarn.
